My father seems to be more anxious and timid ever since he fell in our kitchen. Is this normal?

Unfortunately yes. Studies have shown that falls and confidence correlate, so it’s normal for your father to feel more hesitant about his surroundings. Make sure to install safety railings and other equipment to put his mind at ease. Also, make sure he has a walker or cane for support.
