Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is actually not a form arthritis and therefore requires different treatment than arthritis. CTS actually is caused by pressure put on a nerve in the wrist that causes pain, numbness, and discomfort. This can be treated with medication or non-invasive surgery that relieves the pressure caused by the swelling ligament. Unlike arthritis, the issue cannot always be solved with medication.
