Most home care services perform background check employees, but not all depending on their professional backgrounds or previous recommendations. I highly suggest doing research and/or asking that question to each home care agency you speak to just to make sure. Don’t assume that all employees from every home care service go through a background check before being hired by the agency. It doesn't hurt to take extra steps to ensure a loved one's home care is as best as it can be!
