Yes, you can claim your dad’s daycare expenses if: your dad qualifies as a dependent and you paid for him to go to adult daycare for more than half of the year so that you could look for work. However, there is a limit on the amount of money you can claim. According to the IRS Publication 503, you can only claim up to $3,000 for one qualified person.
