I’ve been trying to convince my grandfather to be better with his diet, but he always complains of high food prices. Is there anything that Medicare or Medicaid can do to help with his nutrition?

Having a healthy diet and nutrition is very important for seniors! There are many nutrition resources for seniors. If he is eligible for Medicare already, then he can also take advantage of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Essentially, he’ll be able to get reduced prices on the basics of adequate nutrition like bread, cereals, fruits and vegetables, meats like fish and poultry, as well as dairy products.
