It can be difficult to accept aging and the challenges that come with it. It is likely that you mother is refusing your help for two reasons. First, she may not fully agree that she needs help. Second, she may not want to inconvenience you. In order to address both of these issues, have an honest discussion with her about what her needs are, how you and your siblings can help, and why you really do not mind helping. Should she still refuse your help, it may be worth considering home care or another option.
