It is important to know that osteoporosis can occur in any of your bones, but it is commonly found in the hips, wrists, and spine. When the vertebrae in your spine are affected, the small fractures will cause a sloping the shoulders, hunched posture, or a curve in the spine. If you suspect that you might be developing osteoporosis or are already at risk, talk to your doctor about what treatment options are available and right for you.
